Quick and easy homemade tomato ketchup recipe. Tomato ketchup is one of mostly used tomato sauces all over the world. We all love eating our Snacks, (meals) with tomato ketchup. We can also use homemade tomato ketchup in cooking different dishes to have a unique taste. As we all know that the best match of fries is always tomato ketchup. Well, we all usually use tomato ketchup in our daily routines. So, i think it is better to use homemade tomato ketchup instead of market-version. Because, there are many artificial flavors and acids in market-version ketchup wich can be non-healthy for daily use. But i will give you a simple, easy, pure, and healthy recipe of tomato ketchup. Ingredients

  • Cherry tomatoes (1 KG)
  • Sugar (1/4 cup)
  • Vinegar (4 tablespoons)
  • Water (4 tablespoons)
  • Kashmiri red chili powder (1 tablespoon
  • Tatri powder (just a pinch)

Step 1

Here i am using cherry tomatoes for this homemade tomato ketchup recipe. Because cherry tomatoes has a rich sour taste. First of all cut cherry tomatoes into two pieces.

Step 2

Now add tomatoes to a blender, along with vinegar, water, sugar, tarter powder and kashmiri red chilli powder. Blend all very well until become a smooth puree.

Step 3

After that, take a bowl and a strainer. Strain the tomato puree very nicely to separate all the seeds and the skin of tomatoes.

Step 4

Heat up a wok and add tomato puree to it. Give it a boil on high flame, after a boil turn the flame to the Low-medium. Cook until the sauce thickened or until no water separates from the sauce. During this process keep stirring to avoide burning. To check the perfect consistency, take a plate add some sauce to it if no water separates from the sauce it means it is done.

Step 5

After room temperature, enjoy your homemade tomato ketchup on the spot or store it in airtight container and keep into fridge. Use this tasty homemade tomato ketchup within a month
